Aqueous Coating Solutions are those that employ "water" as the major component of the formulated coatings.  The "water" is used as a dispersant to liquefy the solids (pigments) content of the coating.  The coatings are applied onto the surface of an image for the purpose of protecting and/or enhancing the image.  Air and/or Heat are used to evaporate the water content, while Solvents coalesce the constituents into a solid film.   For more information on Aqueous Coating Solutions, click here
